Zone 7 part 1 and 2 are basically the same game. Part 2 is a translated (from Dutch) unofficial release. The programmer of the original (John Vanderaart) had fun with it and called the official sequel 'part 3'.

An interesting take on Asteroids. 
The edge of the screen is a wall and you can bounce your shots and ship off this to your heart's content. 
The enemies are bizarre morphing shapes with equally bizarre sounds to accompany them. They are superbly animated. Feels like the developer was smoking something good when he wrote this. 

Controlling your ship is a breeze once you get used to it and the gameplay is quite satisfying. Add in the other worldly atmosphere this game exudes and you have an above average shooter on the 64.
